OKTOBERFEST 2019
Culture Brewing Co’s 2nd annual Oktoberfest celebration is officially under our belts or should we way, the straps of our lederhosen? We had a blast with everyone who came out to take part in the traditional Oktoberfest festivities and enjoy a few delicious beers and tasty German-style bites with us.
NEW steins were available to commemorate the day and were just too good to pass up with our “Buy A Pint, Keep The Glass” deal. Out on the patio we were pouring six traditional German beer styles which included: German Pilsner, Marzen, Doppelbock, Kottbusser, Hefeweizen and the new release of our Cranberry Hazy IPA.
In addition to these classic styles on tap, we also released our newest cans! Our Cranberry Hazy IPA helps us welcome Fall, while the Mango Guava Berliner is our so-long to Summer style.

Calling all beer maidens! We wanted our guests to embrace their inner Oktoberfest style, so we brought in the talented hairstylists at Belli Belli Hair Salon to give our ladies a traditional German look. We also had Flower Frenzy on-site with their gorgeous premade flower arrangements to shop as well as providing individual flowers to adorn those traditional milkmaid braids.
What Oktoberfest would be complete with a few German-style eats? The awesome crew from The Flavor Mobile was on-site for the event with a menu specifically made to bring “a taste of Germany” to Solana Beach. There were soft pretzels with beer cheese, potato pancakes with homemade apple sauce & sour cream, a create-your-own-brat station complete with OG house kraut, crumbled peppered bacon, slivered jalapeños, + beer queso, and chicken schnitzel sliders with red cabbage slaw & garlic aioli. YUM!
Guests were also able to take part in a few fun and friendly games which included a costume contest, stein-holding competition and a sausage toss. Competitors went head-to-head for a chance to become this year’s Oktoberfest champ!

Thank you to everyone who came decked out in their best lederhosen and beer maiden dresses to participate in the costume contest. We loved seeing guests go all out for this event, but in the end, there was no denying who the ultimate winner was . . .
